Jürg Kindle has been a guitar teacher and composer for 42 years. In the early 1980s there was hardly any instructional literature for the guitar. This is how Jürg Kindle started with the first pieces and etudes for children. To date, more than 500 guitar pieces have been written, plus a guitar method, a theory work and a work on song accompaniment. The compositions range from solo, duo, trio, quartet literature to guitar orchestra. Jürg Kindle has also made a name for himself with mandolin works. His "Fingerfood" etudes and "Mandopolis" have quickly made it into competitions around the world. Jürg Kindle's works have become an integral part of concert programs. The two guitar quartets Kalimba and Techno have already achieved cult status. You can find countless videos with these pieces on youtube. On Spotify, Jürg Kindle has 100,000 monthly listeners and his compositions and recordings have already reached 13 million streams. Since 2016, Kindle has been publishing his works in his own publishing company Edition Kalimba.
